About Bouquet
Design
Bouquet is a wall composition made from ten irregular, ovoid mirrors. Each piece has its own shape, size, and color, and they overlap just enough to feel intentional without looking rigid. The result reads more like a designed arrangement than a single mirror, with edges that catch the room differently as the light changes.
The composition has a casual confidence. It doesn’t try to be perfectly symmetrical, and that’s the point. Designed by Johanna Grawunder, it brings a slightly unexpected geometry to the wall while still feeling clean and refined.
Materials & Build
All ten mirrors are partially overlapped and fixed to one another, so the composition holds its form as a single piece. Behind it, a panel with multiple hooks supports the installation and allows the mirror to be hung and oriented in any direction. That flexibility changes the mood: more horizontal and expansive, or more vertical and graphic.
In its BOU01 configuration, Bouquet measures approximately 51.2 inches wide, 2.8 inches deep, and 41.3 inches high. It is not available custom made, so the character comes from the set composition and the way it’s positioned in the space.
Light & Everyday Use
As a mirror, it works in a practical way, but it doesn’t behave like a single flat reflective surface. The ten mirrored forms create a softer, more layered reflection, which can be flattering and also a little playful. And because the elements vary in color, the wall gets more depth than a standard mirror can offer.
Bouquet is available with or without an integrated lighting option. With the dimming lighting system, the mirror diffuses a soft backlit corona that sits behind the composition. It’s subtle, not theatrical, and it can shift the piece from daytime function to evening atmosphere.
Placement & Lifestyle
This piece suits rooms that want a focal point without a heavy object on the floor. In an entry, it adds reflection and presence at once. In a living room, it can replace a large single mirror and make the wall feel more curated. It also works well in a bedroom, where the overlapping shapes add interest even when the lights are low.
Because it can be oriented in any direction, Bouquet by glasitalia adapts to different wall proportions. It can sit above a console, anchor a hallway, or balance a larger piece of furniture without competing with it.
Longevity
The construction is straightforward and meant to hold up: fixed mirror elements, a supportive hanging panel, and an optional lighting system with dimming control. There’s nothing fussy about the concept, which helps it stay relevant as the room evolves.
It’s a piece chosen for how it lives on the wall day after day. And it rewards that choice with changing reflections, quiet color shifts, and a design that doesn’t need to explain itself.
