About Kazimir table
Design
Kazimir is a glass table with a strict, architectural presence. The lines are clean and the geometry is deliberate, but it never feels cold. Michael Anastassiades keeps the form reduced, letting proportion do the work. And because the structure is made from overlapping planes, the table reads differently as you move around it—open from one angle, more solid from another.
It comes from a wider Kazimir furniture collection, and that family look shows here: a precise composition of interlocked sheets that feels almost drawn in space. The result is quiet and graphic, with just enough depth to keep it interesting in a lived-in room.
Materials & build
Each table is made entirely from 10 mm tempered glass, offered in green or extra-clear, both finished with double-sided acid etching. The acid-etched surface softens the look and cuts glare, while keeping the glass feeling substantial. It’s a matte touch, not a shine-first statement.
The planes are joined using a UV bonding method, chosen for clarity and accuracy at the seams. Nothing looks bulky or overbuilt. It’s glass doing what glass does best—clean edges, crisp intersections, and a sense of precision that holds up close.
Everyday comfort
Comfort, here, is about ease. The acid-etched finish makes the surface feel more forgiving to the eye, especially under strong daylight or evening lamps. And the table stays visually calm even when it’s in use with books, trays, or objects. But it still reads as a sculptural piece, not background furniture.
Placement & lifestyle
Kazimir works well in spaces that value openness: large living rooms, minimal lounges, or layered interiors that need a clear focal point without adding visual weight. It pairs naturally with upholstery, leather, and warm woods because the glass brings balance and breathing room.
There are three sizes to suit different layouts. KAZ08 measures about 42.5″ x 42.9″ x 15.7″. KAZ09 is about 51.2″ x 26.0″ x 15.7″. KAZ10 is more compact and taller at about 15.7″ x 11.8″ x 19.7″.
Longevity
Tempered glass is chosen for resilience in daily use, and the construction keeps the form stable and exact over time. This is a piece meant to be lived with, not handled delicately. And since it’s not available custom made, the focus stays on the original intent—clear, rigorous, and consistent with glasitalia’s approach to modern glass furniture.
