About X-T Table
Design
Designed by Piero Lissoni, the X-T Table is all about clean geometry and a precise, graphic presence. The top comes in square, round, oval, or rectangular forms, so the look can shift from intimate to architectural without changing the table’s quiet attitude. It reads light in the room, but it never feels delicate. And the clarity of the glass keeps sightlines open, which makes the proportions feel even more intentional.
At a consistent height of about 29.1 inches, the collection offers a wide spread of footprints. Rectangular options run from roughly 78.7 by 39.4 inches up to 118.1 by 39.4 inches, with a broader 94.5 by 43.3 inches format as well. There are also square sizes from about 47.2 inches to 63.0 inches, plus round diameters from about 55.1 inches up to 66.9 inches. Slim console proportions are available too, including about 63.0 by 15.0 inches through 78.7 by 15.0 inches.
Materials & build
The top is crafted in 15 mm thick transparent extralight or smoked glass, or in laminated 8+8 mm “blue paste glass.” The legs are made from 10 mm thick tempered glass in matching extralight, smoked, or blue paste finishes, UV-bonded for a crisp, seamless join. The engineering detail shows up where it matters: mirror-polished stainless steel plates secure the legs to the top, and the legs are removable for practical handling. At the base, four mirror-polished stainless steel feet sit neatly within the leg profile, visually integrated rather than added on.
Comfort
Because the structure stays visually open, seating feels easy from every side. Chairs can tuck in without the table base taking over, and the clear glass keeps the setting from feeling crowded even at larger sizes. But it still feels grounded thanks to the stainless steel connection points and the tempered glass legs.
Placement & lifestyle
The X-T Table works naturally in dining rooms that lean modern, but it also fits in more layered interiors where heavy materials and textiles need a lighter counterpoint. In a kitchen-dining space, the extralight version keeps things bright and clean. The smoked glass brings a bit more mood for evening dining. And the blue paste glass adds a distinct color note without turning the table into a statement piece that fights everything else.
Longevity
Tempered glass legs, UV bonding, and stainless steel hardware are choices made for long-term use, not just for looks. The removable leg system also makes moving and reconfiguring far less stressful over time. Glas Italia offers custom-made options, so the table can be tailored when a room calls for a specific size or proportion, keeping the design consistent even as needs change.
